Grinding technology is indispensable to metal processing. Since our founding we have worked side by side with customers involved in grinding and polishing, handling a wide range of machines, materials and products to meet their needs.

For every kind of cutting, grinding and polishing process, we select the right wheel, diamond or CBN product from among many manufacturers. We also supply high-performance oils for lubrication and cooling in machining, and propose ways to improve the working environment and reduce running costs.

Life Design

Our work goes beyond supplying the tools manufacturers use. Life Design also sells the finished products those factories create, including Japanese kitchen knives and everyday kitchenware shaped by the same grinding and polishing technology.

We export these products worldwide, and our team plans and develops OEM and private-brand items tailored to each customer's market and needs.

History

Show history before 2000
1918The first Kametaro Fuchioka founded Fuchioka Shoten in Sanjo Ichinokido.
1946Kazuo Fuchioka succeeded as Kametaro Fuchioka (2nd).
1953Established FUCHIOKA TOISHI Inc. with a capital of 2.5 million JPY in partnership with Shimada Brothers Co.
1973Established Sapporo Office in Sapporo City.
1978Kametaro Fuchioka was appointed Chairman and Shigeru Fuchioka as President.
1991Increased capital to 50 million JPY.
2020Acquired Kurosaki Metal Craft Co., Ltd. (Takaoka City, Toyama) as a group company.
2023Shigeru Fuchioka appointed Chairman of the Board; Yusuke Fuchioka appointed President and Representative Director.
